Review of PS I love you

Title: PS I Love You
Author: Cecelia Ahern
Published: November 15th 2004
Pages: 503
Rating 5/5

Summary From Goodreads:

Holly couldn't live without her husband Gerry, until the day she had to. They were the kind of young couple who could finish each other's sentences. When Gerry succumbs to a terminal illness and dies, 30-year-old Holly is set adrift, unable to pick up the pieces. But with the help of a series of letters her husband left her before he died and a little nudging from an eccentric assortment of family and friends, she learns to laugh, overcome her fears, and discover a world she never knew existed.

The kind of enchanting novel with cross-generational appeal that comes along once in a great while, PS, I Love You is a captivating love letter to the world!

Review:

Have you ever heard the saying books are better then the movie versions? Well this is one of those times. I have watched the movie (and own it) and its great( Gerard Butler is really good looking in this movie! haha) but they do leave out alot from the books. Anyways, this book is such a great read it had me crying, and laughing. This book tells us that people should move on and live there life as though it is your last day. PS I love you is such a moving and captivating story that everyone that has or hasnt lost a loved one should read!

Have you seen the movie or read the book? How did you like it??

The Reckoning Review

Title: The Reckoning
Author: Kelley Armstrong
Published: April 6th 2010
Pages: 391
Rating: 4/5

Summary from Goodreads:

Only two weeks ago, life was all too predictable. But that was before I saw my first ghost. Now, along with my supernatural friends Tori, Derek, and Simon, I’m on the run from the Edison Group, which genetically altered us as part of their sinister experiment. We’re hiding in a safe house that might not be as safe as it seems. We’ll be gone soon anyway, back to rescue those we’d left behind and to take out the Edison Group . . . or so we hope.

Review:

This is the third and last of the series. These books are a great read. Ms. Armstrong is great at describing the places and characters. I loved these books since the first one and they are such a captivating read it makes you not want to put these books down until your finished. The only down side to this book is the ending it kind of ends, without closer. Which i think means that she going to make another book but in someone else's perspective, which I'm hoping for. Anyways, I defiantly loved this book.

Review:

Ok i first came across this book in the store and i thought it would be a good break from all the vampire books i have been reading, and OMG this book is amazing!! It is intense and puts a new spin on sibling rivalry. This book would be a great movie to do. Also, this book is set in the 1800`s, which is cool because i always like books that are set back in the day. This is a great read and i defiantly recommend this one if you want to get away from the vampire craze.
