Review of Blood Promise

Blood Promise (Vampire Academy, #4)

Title: Blood Promise
Author: Richelle Mead
Published: August 25, 2009
Pages: 512
Rating: 5/5

Summary From Goodreads:

Rose Hathaway's life will never be the same.

The recent attack on St. Vladimir's Academy devastated the entire Moroi world. Many are dead. And, for the few victims carried off by Strigoi, their fates are even worse. A rare tattoo now adorns Rose's neck, a mark that says she's killed far too many Strigoi to count. But only one victim matters . . . Dimitri Belikov. Rose must now choose one of two very different paths: honoring her life's vow to protect Lissa—her best friend and the last surviving Dragomir princess—or, dropping out of the Academy to strike out on her own and hunt down the man she loves. She'll have to go to the ends of the earth to find Dimitri and keep the promise he begged her to make. But the question is, when the time comes, will he want to be saved?

Now, with everything at stake—and worlds away from St. Vladimir's and her unguarded, vulnerable, and newly rebellious best friend—can Rose find the strength to destroy Dimitri? Or, will she sacrifice herself for a chance at eternal love?

Review:

This book has got to be my favorite so far in this series!! The writing and characters get better and better with each book I read. In this book it has a lot more action and suspense going on that I had a very hard time putting the book down. Also, in parts (I won't give anything away) it was heartbreaking to read (almost crying haha i am such a baby) But all in all a very good fast read that you will be hungry for more!

Review:

This is the third book in the Vampire Academy Series. This is another amazing read and the ending I did not expect to happen! The beginning of this book was kind of slow moving but it did get better as I started to read more. This book is intense, suspenseful and full of shocking surprises! I cannot wait to read the next book!

Review:

This is the second book in the Vampire Academy Series. The more I read of this series the better it gets. I liked how in the beginning it has a Prologue of what had happen in the first book, since I sort of forgot what happened with all the books I am reading lately I am not in the bit surprised. It is so entertaining with Rose's witty remarks, she has got to be my favorite character! This book has love, hate, action (not too long or too short), sadness ( I actually no joke cried!), and suspense( what will happen in the next one?). All in all a really good fast paced read that you will have to re read again and again.

Review:

First off I would like to say that I watched the movie of this book before I read the book. I was hesitant to read the book before the movie only because I did not think I would like the book, but boy was I wrong! I liked how you got to know each of the characters more through their point of views. I liked each and every character in this book in one way or other but my absolute favorite character has to be Minny just because of what she did to Miss Hilly with the 'Terrible Awful' thing. (if you have read or seen the movie you know what I mean:) This book is an awesome read, and it's a funny-fast paced book that you do not want to miss!
