Review of The Rescue
Title: The Rescue
Author: Nicholas Sparks
Published: April 1st 2005
Pages: 352
Rating: 4/5
Summary From Goodreads:
Nicholas Sparks's latest tale of romantic angst, The Rescue, has all of his trademark elements: characters who are part of the walking wounded, the fresh hope of new love, and the crushing force of unexpected tragedy. But this time out, Sparks opts for a happier ending, though not before wringing as many tears from his readers as he can.
Review:
What can I say? Another great read from Nicholas Sparks! As you could probably tell I just adore his books. This book, is so good! It has romance, loss and a small town life, all make this book an incredible read. The only down side is that some parts go on and on, just wanting it to get to the point already. But that doesn't happen a lot and if you like Nicholas Sparks other books you will defiantly like this one!

Review of Bridget Jones Diary
Title: Bridget Jones Diary
Author:Helen Fielding
Published: May 24th 1999
Pages:271
Rating: 2.5/5
Summary From Goodreads:
Helen Fielding's devastatingly self-aware, laugh-out-loud account of a year in the life of a thirty-something Singleton launched a genre and transcended the pages of fiction to become a cultural icon.
Review:
To tell you the truth, I couldn't really get into this book. I loved this movie but the book drags on and on. There were some funny parts, but some of the humor i could not get. It is all in a British accent and it is in actual diary form which is hard to get into. I didn't like it and did not understand most of it. I think the author did a good job, but in my opinion, I totally did not like it at all. Loved the movie, not the book. Which is weird it is usually the other way around that people like books more than movies. So in conclusion, I would recommend the movie more than the book.
