Review of Entice

Title: Entice
Author: Carrie Jones
Published: January 3, 2011
Pages: 264
Rating: 4/5

Summary From Goodreads:

Zara and Nick are soul mates, meant to be together forever.
But that's not quite how things have worked out.

For starters, well, Nick is dead.
Supposedly, he's been taken to a mythic place for warriors known as Valhalla, so Zara and her friends might be able to get him back. But it's taking time, and meanwhile a group of evil pixies is devastating Bedford, with more teens going missing every day. An all-out war seems imminent, and the good guys need all the warriors they can find. But how to get to Valhalla?

And even if Zara and her friends discover the way, there's that other small problem: Zara's been pixie kissed. When she finds Nick, will he even want to go with her? Especially since she hasn't just turned...she's Astley's queen.

Review:

This is book three in the Need Series. I really like this series even though it is about pixies, I think it has a great plot line that makes you want to finish the book until it is done. The characters are awesome and you fall in love with them instantly. I really liked the ending with the cliffhanger, I cannot wait til the next book!

Review:

I have heard a lot of good things from this series so I had to check it out, and I am glad I did! I did not know a lot about this book, so my hopes wasn't that high and it was pretty cheap at the book store. This book has a interesting plot with awesome characters that are quite mature for their age, I really liked Rose she had some pretty funny lines in the book. I would recommend this book for all those people who like The House of Night Series or to paranormal fans:) Totally going to buy the next book when I can:)

Review of The Lying Game

Title: The Lying Game
Author: Sara Shepard
Published: December 7, 2010
Pages: 307
Rating: 5/5

Summary From Goodreads:

I had a life anyone would kill for.

Then someone did.

The worst part of being dead is that there’s nothing left to live for. No more kisses. No more secrets. No more gossip. It’s enough to kill a girl all over again. But I’m about to get something no one else does—an encore performance, thanks to Emma, the long-lost twin sister I never even got to meet.

Now Emma’s desperate to know what happened to me. And the only way to figure it out is to be me—to slip into my old life and piece it all together. But can she laugh at inside jokes with my best friends? Convince my boyfriend she’s the girl he fell in love with? Pretend to be a happy, carefree daughter when she hugs my parents good night? And can she keep up the charade, even after she realizes my murderer is watching her every move?

From Sara Shepard, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of thePretty Little Liars books, comes a riveting new series about secrets, lies, and killer consequences.

Let the lying game begin.

Review:

I loved Sara Shepard's other book series Pretty Little Liars. So when I heard about the tv show The Lying Game and it is based off the next series in Sara Shepard's book, I had to get this book. I have watched the first season of The Lying Game before I read the book. The book is different than the show but I think in a good way, it's almost like The Vampire Diaries in how different the book series is than the tv show but for the better. Anywho, I really love this book, the characters are great the plot line is awesome and makes you want more. This author has to be one of my favourites and I cannot wait till I get the second and third book in this series!

PS I hope everyone had a safe and awesome New Years. Cheers to 2012!
