Review of City of Glass

City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3)

Title: City of Glass

Published: March 24, 2009
Pages: 541
Rating: 5/5

Summary From Goodreads:

To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters -- never mind that enter-ing the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.

As Clary uncovers more about her family's past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadow-hunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadow-hunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he's willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City -- whatever the cost?

Love is a mortal sin and the secrets of the past prove deadly as Clary and Jace face down Valentine in the final installment of the New York Timesbestselling trilogy The Mortal Instruments.

Review:

This is the third book in the Mortal Instruments Series and I loved it! This series is everything I hoped it would be. There is love, hate, action, adventure and more! It will keep you reading until the book is done. This is such a fun story for me that I am glad this series does not end with this book! Cannot wait til I get the next book! If you haven't read this series, I strongly suggest you do! You won't regret it:)

Review:

This is the second book in the Mortal Instruments Series, and I am in love with it! The plot of these series is incredible that it makes you want more. I like how Simon changes throughout the book and makes some grown up decisions that I probably couldn't do if I was in his position. I like Clary and Jace's relationship, you got to know more about them in this book. The ending I liked and I cannot wait til I get the next book! I don't know why it took me this long to read this series! Awesome book, I totally recommend this to anyone it has love, jealously, action (a lot more then the first book), sadness and a lot more!
