Review of The Last Song

Title: The Last Song
Author: Nicholas Sparks
Published: September 8th 2009
Pages: 390
Rating: 5/5

Summary from Goodreads:

Her parents' divorce left 17-year-old Veronica Miller embittered and confused. Three years later, "Ronnie" still seethes with anger toward her father, a musician and teacher who has abandoned hectic New York City for the quiet beach town of Wilmington, North Carolina. Nevertheless, she reluctantly agrees to her mother's altruistic plan that for the good of all concerned, she should visit her estranged father in his new home. As the story of The Last Song unfolds, novelist Nicholas Sparks weaves his magic, threading together the intricate story of three very different people tied inextricably together.

Review:

I watched this movie before I read the book and let me tell you that I do not like Miley Cyrus, I did not think she played that part well. Anyways, like all Nicholas Sparks books I loved this book! It's a little different then the other ones I have read because it is in different perspectives with Ronnie (the main character), Steve (Ronnie's dad), and Marcus (the bad dude). I really enjoyed this book and I think this book is the top of my favorites as for the movie I defiantly think that they should have had a better Ronnie for the part. Defiantly recommend the book, it has romance, humor, and some sad parts (I cried, seriously).
